Spa-Francorchamps F1 Grand Prix Travel Guide
The Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix takes place at the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in the scenic Ardennes region.
🚗 Driving & Parking Guide
Driving to Spa is famous for heavy traffic congestion. Access routes are strictly color-coded. Follow the E42 highway and exit at Verviers (Green route), Spa (Yellow route), or Malmedy (Red route) depending on your ticket zone. Parking must be booked in advance online. Expect up to 2-3 hours delays during peak exit times on Sunday.
🚆 Trains & Shuttle Services
Take a train to Verviers-Central or Liège-Guillemins stations, then board the official TEC express shuttle buses (Line 294 or 395) which drop off right at the circuit entrances. Booking train + bus combi-tickets is highly recommended.
🚲 Alternative Transit (Taxis, Cycling, Airports)
A dedicated taxi drop-off/pick-up zone is set up near the circuit (follow signs for Taxi Spa). Uber or Bolt services are extremely limited or unavailable in this region of Wallonia; stick to local metered taxis. Bike parking is available near the entrance gates. The closest major international airport is Brussels Airport (BRU) or Liège Airport (LGG), with rental cars or trains to Verviers being the best onward option.
🌱 Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Compliance
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit and surrounding Ardennes municipalities are not subject to any Low Emission Zones.
